School might already be out for your kiddos and you’re thinking to yourself, why didn’t I plan better and sign these kids up for summer camp?? While it may be too late for some, there are many camps still accepting registrations. Here is a list of some camps offered locally, obviously we can’t list them all. There’s a variety, though, so you can find something that fits your kiddo’s specific interests.
If your kiddo has shown interest in cooking and you want to expand on that interest, this is a great option! Flower Power Kids Cooking Studios takes children from ages 5-8 and 9-12. Normal camp hours are from 8:30 AM-4:00 PM, but they do have extended camp hours available. Your camper will get to make a snack and lunch for himself. They incorporate reading, science, math, and chemistry! You can find more info about this camp here: https://www.flourpowerstudios.com/register/highlandsranch/camps

Does your little one have a knack in movie making? Maybe they’re just showing an interest in acting or movie making. This is a super neat and unique camp opportunity at Digistars Make-a-Movie Workshop. They offer camps in June, July, and August and go from 9-3, with extended hours available. This workshop is located at 6740 E. Colfax Ave. inside the Mile High Youth Corps building

This camp really takes advantage of the great outdoors! Available for kids ages PreK-12th grade, campers learn to bike, hike, paddle, and outdoor skills. Campers not only learn outdoor survival skills, but self-confidence. All instructors are 21+ years and CPA and First Aid certified. This camp is super convenient because they have locations all over the Denver Metro Area. You can find one that works best for you here https://avid4.com/day-camps/colorado/
While we know there are so many more camps available in Colorado this summer, hopefully this list offered you a different variety of camps. Sports camps are pretty common, but for the non-athletic kids that are looking to really explore and learn, hopefully this list was helpful.
