At first glance, it might look like the market is not doing as well in 2017 compared to 2016. The number of new listings, sold listings, and under contracts are down. However, there were 32% fewer active listings this year compared to last. Looking at the median and average sales prices, you can see that there is still a significant increase.
Interestingly enough, there isn’t as large a gap for townhouse-condos in active listings, under contracts, new listings, and sold listings. By contrast, the increase in median and average sales price is more in alignment with single family homes.
